Introduction

VirtuTrade is a cryptocurrency trading simulator for iOS. It uses live market data to support simulated trades with virtual USD.

VirtuTrade does not support real-money deposits, withdrawals, cryptocurrency purchases, wallet custody, or brokerage account connections.

This Privacy Policy explains what information VirtuTrade handles and how that information is used.

Information Collection

VirtuTrade is designed to minimize data collection.

• No account or login is required.
• We do not collect personal information such as your name, email, phone number, or financial account details.
• We do not use analytics SDKs, ad SDKs, or cross-app tracking tools.

The app stores user-generated simulator data locally on your device, including:

• simulated portfolio holdings
• simulated trade history
• app preferences and settings

How Data Is Used

Data in VirtuTrade is used only to provide core app functionality, such as:

• displaying your simulated portfolio and trade activity
• remembering selected settings and preferences
• maintaining your local simulation state between app sessions

VirtuTrade does not sell or monetize user data.

Third-Party Services

VirtuTrade uses public data providers to display market and news content:

• CoinGecko API for cryptocurrency market pricing and related market data
• CryptoCompare for crypto news content

When the app requests market/news data, network requests are sent to these providers. Their handling of request data is governed by their own privacy policies and terms.

Data Storage

VirtuTrade stores simulator data locally on your iOS device. Data is not uploaded to VirtuTrade-operated servers.

Because data is stored locally:

• removing the app may remove locally stored simulation data
• device backups/restores are managed by Apple and your iOS backup settings

Children’s Privacy

VirtuTrade does not knowingly collect personal information from children.

If you believe a child has provided personal information through the app, please contact us so we can review and address the concern.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect product, legal, or operational changes.

When updates are made, the “Last updated” date at the top of this document will be revised.
